Prince Lionheart

I really love Prince Lionheart as a company.  They have a great range of products for Feeding, Nursery, Safety, Travel, and Play.  I previously reviewed their WeePod, and you’ll probably recognize some of their more well-known products like the Bebe Pod and Wheely Bug, but they also carry some really high-quality products for everyday use that you probably didn’t know about.  One example is their Table Edge Guards.

Now is when I digress a little and tell you a little story about a horrible mother who was chasing her 18-month old around a store.  The little boy was having a grand old time, laughing and giggling as he was learning how to use his new-found walking skills.  She pretended to chase after him, and he squealed with joy, until he tried to change directions abruptly and landed his forehead square onto the corner of a metal display table.  The rest was a bit of a blur, because we (yes, that’s my poor baby I’m talking about) drove as fast as we could to the nearest emergency room where he got 6 stitches in his precious baby forehead.  I would post a picture for you, but believe me you don’t want to see it.  Ahhh, it pains me to think about it.  

Anyway, my point is that children trust their parents to provide them a safe environment where they can run and play without getting hurt.  Also, it’s fair to say that we don’t have eyes in the back of our heads and can’t always watch our children 100% of the time.  All of this means that you need to PLEASE make sure that at least your house is as safe as possible.  Being a first-time parent, I didn’t automatically see all of the potential dangers that lurk all over the house, and frankly thought that all of those “safety” devices were just a marketing ploy for overly cautious parents.  Prince Lionheart helps you make sure that it’s better safe than sorry!
