15 Jul 2010About HappyBaby:
A few short years ago, HAPPYBABY was the first premium baby brand to enter the market in 5 small stores in New York City—at a time when there were no homestyle options for parents to feed their children. Processed foods or homemade baby food—which can be time consuming for busy families—were the only options. A lot has changed, and we are now the leading premium brand of baby and toddler meals in the U.S.—sold in over 5,000 stores with 5 different lines of optimally delicious organic foods for your growing family.
When your baby starts eating solids, you want to give them the very best foods you can. Often times, we just don’t have time to make our own food, and HappyBaby is the next best thing. Their all-organic line of Baby, Toddler, and Pre-school foods are all pure, unprocessed, and delicious!
I’ve previously done a review of HappyFamily foods, and am happy to feature them again now that they have added a few new products to their line. Please go back and read my previous review to hear me raving about their HappyBellies dry cereals and puffs. They now have a line of baby foods in pouches for babies starting solids up through 7 months+, and also added yogurt melts to their line since last time.
In addition to the items you’ll find on the shelves, you can also find HappyBaby frozen purees and HappyBites for toddlers in the freezer section. The HappyBaby frozen meals are packaged in really cute cubes that are super convenient for mixing and matching or single servings. Now that Brandon is 2 years and 4 months old, my food challenges with him are about making sure he gets all his veggies and will remain interested in a meal enough to sit down and eat it. I actually tried some of the HappyBites frozen toddler foods myself, and they are really tasty! They also have “hidden vegetables” in them. You can find them in the freezer section, and they are all really easy to heat up (microwave or oven) when you don’t have time to cook. Many of them also come with fun dipping sauces!
HappyBaby also has a new line of pouches for toddlers, called HappyTot, which is made with Salba. These would be perfect for lunch boxes!
Our new HAPPYTOT line is the first and only baby food fortified with Salba®, nature’s super-grain. These 4.22 ounce pouches pack a lot of punch in the form of omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and minerals; and they come in six delicious flavor combinations:
The HappyBaby: Organic Guide to Baby’s First 24 Month book is really interesting and comprehensive. It covers many of the questions I’ve had about how to get your kids to eat right without having a huge struggle, and they list several fun healthy recipes I want to try like Oatmeal Pancakes. I still need to read more of it to get more ideas, because we still have to chase Brandon around with a bowl sometimes. Horrible, I know. The book also talks about how to “green” your home, and comes with over $100 in coupons!
You can purchase HappyBaby foods at amazon.com, happyfamilyshop.com, or at a store near you.
HappyBaby would like to offer one lucky babybix blog reader a HappyBaby Prize Pack! The prize pack (almost a $60 value) includes:
