I don’t use Finish now, I use Cascade. I’m pretty happy with it, but sometimes there are problems. I’m leaning more toward it being something wrong with the dishwasher though.

I currently use whatever is cheapest and I always prewash. Even back when the husband had a job and we had a super duper dishwasher – if we didn’t prewash it didn’t get clean.

#1 brand recommended by more dishwashers … and it’s true that it was recommended by my new washer and there were free samples that came inside.

I tried Cascade liquid and it reacted badly with my hardwater. In no time, I had hardscale lime deposits coating the heating coil. Switched back to Finish and the situation reversed itself.

we try to rinse pasta dishes and prewash the baked on casserole dishes.
