I used to go to Target once a week or every other week – it’s Target! However, with two kids now it’s a little too hard so I really only get there once a month or so. And since ours is just a regular Target and not a Super Target, we don’t buy a lot of food there, just some cereal sometimes when it’s on sale.

I love honey chicken!

Hmm, my kids have had colds on and off, nothing too unusual. But at the beginning of last December one of them caught a virus somewhere and passed it to me (which was odd because I’m typically really healthy) and it just about knocked me out. I coughed and coughed and spent a few days just lying in bed because I could barely function. My husband even made me go to the doctor TWICE to make sure that I didn’t have strep or something worse… but all they told me was that yep, I was sick and no, there wasn’t much to do about it except wait until it went away.

Looking back, I missed quite a bit of December because of that darn virus. On the bright side though (and don’t tell my husband), the days that I got to lay in bed with my laptop were not fun physically but were a nice mental break from taking care of the kids non-stop!

We go out to Chinese Food at least once a month. Potstickers and lettuce wraps are my faves!

my son got so sick last yr…he couldn’t breathe and had a high temp. while he slept he kept me right next to him…i mean nose to nose with my arms around him…it was horrible, i knew i was making him hotter, but he wanted me for comfort…it was a long 3 days

I visit a Target store 1-2 times a year. (There’s not one close to our home.) I shop from their website 4-5 times a year. I can’t remember buying food the last time I was actually in a store. I’ll be sure to check out their food section the next time I’m there.

So sorry to hear you’re still sick! It’s not helpful to you at the moment, but I’m a big NyQuil fan. When I couldn’t stop coughing the last time I was sick (and laid up in bed for quite a while), I took some before I went to bed and it was the only thing that would let me actually get some sleep. Back in the 70’s my mom used to make a canned chow mein and serve over the crunchy noodles. I loved it. Now I’m more of a fresh food type girl, so any stir fry with rice is yummy.
