How Bebe au Lait started:
When Claire Ekelund gave birth to her second daughter in 2003, she was proud to be an active nursing mom but recognized that, once again, nursing in public was going to be challenging. Like many nursing moms on-the-go, Claire was quickly reminded of how difficult it is to gracefully feed a wriggling baby and hold a blanket in position. She searched high and low for a solution, but found that nursing covers on the market at the time were clinical, impractical, and difficult to find. Leaving the room to feed Baby in privacy seemed the only alternative, yet this was not always an option.
I previously did a review and giveaway of Bebe au Lait’s Hooded Towel (see my review here). I’m so happy to be able to share with you another great item from Bebe au Lait that would be perfect for a Baby Shower!
Bebe au Lait has all kinds of great gifts for Baby Showers, but I particularly like the Gift Sets, because it has everything you need, and the fact that they all match is just so cute. You get one nursing cover and 3 burp cloths. The burp cloths are made from luxurious and soft terry, perfect for your precious baby’s soft skin. They are the perfect size for resting on your shoulder too!
Bebe au Lait has the softest nursing covers, and they are just the right size – not too big that you feel like you’re wearing a circus tent, and not too small that you’re worried about coverage. The boning that goes around your neck gives just enough room for baby to get some air and for you to check on him/her and have that bonding eye contact while you nurse, but still allows you to have some privacy while nursing in public. At first, I wasn’t sure about nursing in public, and I first used my Bebe au Lait nursing cover on a plane trip that we took. What a life saver! No one batted an eye, and both Brandon and I were super comfortable. I’ve seen people do their grocery shopping with a Bebe au Lait nursing cover on, and a baby carrier holding the baby, so they have both hands free! Now that is multi-tasking!

Sorry you are sick! I have had two sinus infections with this pregnancy…thank god for sinus rinse (netti pot too). Able to battle both without using antibiotics. Recommend it highly!
