The only K’NEX that we own is the original Elmo from the Sesame Street line (like the one Brandon is playing with but not soccer-themed). My daughter really likes putting him together and taking him apart but since we have just the one I think Elmo gets a little lonely sometimes. It would be fun to have more!

Multiple kids would be the lucky recipients of this giant set! I’d split it between my kids, my nephews and a good friend’s little boy and girl. There’s plenty for everyone to enjoy!

We enjoy TRIO building sets.

My mom got my 6 year old son (at the time) a set for his birthday. It was one of the big amusement park sets. We tried to help him with it, but couldn’t understand the directions…the my son, looked at the directions and put the whole thing together by hinmself! He loves K’nex, and i’m always amazed at how well he can follow the directions and build them.

i would split up this set if we won. A set or two of the Sesame street kid K’nex would go to my daughter. A couple of the vehicle building sets would be for my son. The rest i would save for birthday parties, and holiday gifts for nieces, nephews, friends and classmates.

my darling grandson would be the lucky little guy to get these if i win them!

I have to kids, ages 2 and 5, and I teach 3 year old preschool. We have a neat classroom pack with lots of different plans where you can make a KNex dog or butterfly…all of the kids really love it! My kis are currently obsessed with Legos- primo, duplos and the regular sets. Quite a challenge to manage the sets- my oldest son (he’s 5) keeps the teeny tiny legos in his room for my youngest (22 months) can’t get at them.

My daughter is just now getting into the “blocks stage”. She’s still enjoying her set of soft blocks that she can easily stack and knock over. I’m sure soon she’ll be ready to move on to the more advanced sets. I noticed there’s a lot to pick from on their site for pre-schoolers which is great. She’s already a Sesame Street fan, so I know she would enjoy playing with those characters.

3rd entry: My youngest grandson currently loves Magnetix for building. He can stick things together easily, and then haul the pieces in his trucks.

5th entry: Story: When I watch my grandson (just turned 4), I have to build things with him – repair shop, tow company, etc. Then he knocks them down, and hauls away the pieces in his trucks. When it’s time to pick up, it is a very slow process. He insists on pushing all the pieces together with his loaders, and sloooooowly loading them into the box with his forklift. Clean up takes a while.

My oldest son’s first experience with K’NEX was when he recieved a set for a birthday gift from the people at the Ronald McDonald house(his sister was in the NICU for six months). It was a God send. It kept him busy, challenged and creative during a stressful time.

I don’t own or play with them, but my older nephew used to be an expert when he was younger. We once gave him a really complicated roller coaster set for his birthday, and he had it put together within a few hours. No joke.

My younger nephews would! They are 2 and 5 don’t yet play with K’Nex, but if they had some I’m sure they’d love them. And possibly my 9-year niece, if she wanted some of the more complex items (like the Ferris Wheel).

My youngest son would be the recipient, usually he is the one who gets all the hand-me-downs. Yea! Something new!

My son has and loves the farm equipment from Knex. He mixes up all the parts with his other building stuff and makes some crazy new inventions.

All 3 of my kids would play with the set if I won, but my 6 yr-old son would likely get the most use out of it.
