Jakks sent us Big Buck Hunter Pro (ages 8+) and the Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery (ages 8+) to review.

Big Buck Hunter Pro is a hunting game based on the popular arcade game that plugs right into your TV! You don’t need any console to play it, and it works with any TV. All you need are batteries. The gun is pretty large, and has a good weight to it (doesn’t feel cheap), but isn’t too heavy for an 8 year old to hold. You use it like a shot gun, and pump first then pull the trigger. There are different treks with different animals, as well as fun bonus games to play like Pie in the Sky where you shoot cow pies! Haha.

Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery. The Cake Bakery is the perfect gift for kids who love the idea of decorating cakes like mom or like Ace of Cakes! The cake itself takes only 30 seconds to bake in the microwave (just add water), and the fondant is also easy to mix. Then you can roll out the fondant, cut it into shapes with the cutters, and decorate the cake as you wish.
