Fresh Deals is a new community shopping website, which integrates with Facebook to allow you to ask and answer questions about your shopping experience.  You can also simply browse around and find great deals.  Check out their Q&A tab to start asking and answering questions from other users, and the Deals tab for the current “Freshest Deal”, which right now is a Hoover Vacuum for $114 (from $349).   You can ask a general question, or a question on a specific product.  Since they are a fairly new site, there aren’t questions on every single topic, but they are expanding quickly as people find out about it.

The biggest differentiating feature is the ability to ask questions and give answers.  I like that it’s connected to your Facebook account, and that your friends and family can also help answer questions.  I tried asking a question in the Toys category.  I’m looking for some Disney Pixar Up figurines, which are sold out everywhere (except ebay, where they are asking an insane amount), so I posted the question on Fresh Deals.  They were able to suggest similar questions, as well as place my question in the right category.  You can also vote up or flag other people’s questions, so that the most popular questions show up first.

The browsing feature is similar to other comparison shopping sites, where you can do a specific search, like “Playskool Musical Sit and Spin” or you can browse manually to Kids > Brands > Hasbro and narrow by price range, or other narrowing options.

Fresh Deals is a great place to browse around for Holiday Gift ideas, and to ask general or specific questions to a larger community.  It’s like shopping with friends, family, and a huge community of experts.
