SwaddleDesigns is famous for their Ultimate Receiving Blanket, which is a swaddling blanket.  It’s always been hard to find a blanket that is large enough to swaddle properly, and many new parents struggle to figure out how to swaddle and many even take a class just to learn how!  Mom and registered nurse, Lynette, created this line of swaddling blankets in 2003 which are generously sized and have directions printed right on them. She has grown her business since then to include Stroller Blankets, Baby Lovies, Hooded Towels, Bibs, zzZipMe Sacks, Washcloths, and more!  All SwaddleDesigns products are made in the USA, and they also carry a line of organic products.

SwaddleDesigns sent us the Stroller Blanket and Baby Lovie to review, in Fuzzy Lime with Mod Brown Circles. The stroller blanket is generously sized at 40 x 30 inches, and so soft and warm!  I love using this blanket not just for the stroller, but also for cuddling on the couch, and for traveling on the plane when it gets cold.  It’s also machine washable, which is great.  This would make a great gift!

Lynette hand-picks each color combination and fabric, and boy does she have great taste!  All of the colors, fabrics, and styles are so adorable!  She also very thoughtfully chooses textures that babies intuitively love to touch and rub.   I gave Brandon the lovie, and the first thing he did was rub it (for a long time), hug it, and run away with it.
