Does anyone else think this is the coolest thing EVER?? Check out my customized (aka babybix-pimped-out) Flip HD Camcorder that I made at CafePress.com! I am by no means a graphic designer, but I do own a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements. It was so easy to create this camera using the template provided by CafePress, which tells you exactly where the printable areas are. They have similar templates for all of their products. The camera came out really great – it looks exactly like it did in the preview, and the printed part is a little raised which gives it a cool texture.

As for the camera itself, I really like it. It’s small, light, and the interface is really intuitive. Even Brandon was able to take a few videos already! The camera and packaging are very clean and minimal – the usb connector pops out of the camera, and it doesn’t even have a power cord because it charges by USB. The video quality is also really good, and I like that you have to unlock it in order to delete videos, because otherwise Brandon would have deleted them all. The only negative point I see so far is that the lens gets smudged easily, but it does come with a fabric case which doubles as a lens cleaner. It also comes with an optional wrist strap so you don’t drop it.
