Imprecious jewelry takes a fingerprint of a loved one, and makes a sterling silver charm out of it.  You can have one, or many charms, and you can make a bracelet, necklace, or earrings out of them.   I love that this is a mom-run company, and Robin makes the process so fun and easy.  Her pieces are so beautiful just as regular jewelry, but are made that much more special by wearing your loved one’s fingerprint!

The first step after you place your order is that you get a little imprint kit in the mail.  It comes with a detailed instruction booklet, and 2 different putty-like materials.  You mix them together, roll it in a ball, and press the finger in to get the imprint.  After about 30 minutes, the putty hardens, and you put it back in the container and send it back to Robin.  She will make your imprint and your jewelry (she even sent me a picture of it before it was done!), and ship it over to you.  The back of my imprint has a B on it, for Brandon.    The whole process took about 2-3 weeks for me from order to having the bracelet in hand.

I’ve been looking for a bracelet for a long time, and haven’t been able to find quite the right one.  I’m glad I didn’t settle for one that was just ok, because this bracelet is now one of my favorite possessions!  I love love love my bracelet, and don’t plan on ever taking it off – thanks Imprecious!
