Boon

If you’re a parent, you’ve probably already heard of Boon.  They make the coolest bath, feeding, playing, organizing, and decorating accessories!  Here are a few of my favorite Boon items:

Boon always has the cutest, most modern-looking toys and accessories that are really innovative.  I always wonder why someone never thought of that before when I see Boon products!  We already own the Bath Goods foam bath toys/scrubbies/and balls, the Flo bath spout cover, and the Flair High Chair.  We love all of our Boon products, and were delighted to participate in a review and giveaway.

Boon sent us the Potty Bench to review.  It’s called a bench for a reason – this is no ordinary potty seat!  From the Boon website:

The Potty Bench is a training potty featuring two enclosed side storage spaces for organizing potty training supplies, and a pull-out drawer for easy sanitary clean-up. Simply close the lid to use as a large, sturdy stool that supports up to 300 lbs. The sleek, modern design includes a built-in toilet paper holder and a removable soft deflector shield.

Brandon is 19 months now, and we are still working on potty training.  He tried the Potty Bench, and was happy with the extra seating area and the fun little side storage areas.  He wasn’t a huge fan of the splash guard because he had a hard time sitting down with it up, but it’s really easy to take off so we leave it off now.  I can see it being a great feature for us when he gets older.

For reference, you can see how much bigger the Potty Bench is compared to other potty seats.  This makes it a bigger target, and thus easier to sit on when you’re plopping yourself down.  Because of the larger size, it also feels much more sturdy, and I’m not worried that he will tip over.  I especially love that it doubles as a bench for adults (up to 300 lbs!), or a step stool.  This also allows me to teach him how to “put the lid down”!     My favorite feature, though, is the build-in toilet paper holder.  So cute!
