At BuyGreen, we are dedicated to developing a sustainable business.  In every aspect of our operations, from product shipment to office supplies, we look to reduce waste, conserve energy, and minimize use of resources.  After reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible through these efforts, we purchase carbon offsets to reach our goal of a zero waste footprint.  We are approved by Co-Op America, give 1% of our sales back to environmental causes through One Percent for the Planet, and support various environmental and social causes closer to home.

BuyGreen.com sent us the Mountain Green Foamy Hand Soap and the Reusable Tote Bag for review.  The first thing I noticed was that the package came in an old cell phone box with a sticker that says, “Shamelessly shipped in reused packaging”!   How cool is that?  We got to select which fragrance we wanted for the hand soap, and I selected the Apple fragrance.  It smells great,  and leaves my hands feeling clean, but not overly dry.  The foaming mechanism is great, because you use a lot less soap, and it makes it fun for kids to wash their hands because foam is just FUN.    The reusable tote bag is nice and light so I can tuck it into my purse on Farmer’s Market days.
