Lesser Evil

I love it when a company has a definitive personality, and LesserEvil is oozing it.  One look at their website, and you will get a feel for what this company is about… FUN, healthy, yummy snacking.  They are dedicated to helping prevent “snackcidents”, of which I am extremely prone to.

When it comes to kids especially, we need to be extra careful not to let them have too many snackcidents.  Brandon often doesn’t want to eat his dinner, so I feel like anything I can do to get some calories in him is ok.  Plus, it’s hard to say no to a really cute kid asking for a cupcake!  But if you keep healthy snacks around (like LesserEvil Veggie Krinkle Sticks) it’s much easier to divert the attention away from the cupcake.

Our latest snackcident:

I love LesserEvil snacks because the portions are so big!  I don’t know how they do it, but you get to eat 40 Veggie Krinkle Sticks for one serving (only 110 calories and 10 grams of whole grains)!  They are super crunchy, and therefore extremely satisfying to munch on.  They don’t have any oily/greasy taste or feel like potato chips do, and only have 2.5 grams of fat per serving.  The whole grains keep you feeling full, and hello, they have veggies in them!  They also pass the Brandon taste test – he couldn’t get enough!

The kettle corn is also awesome.  Who doesn’t like kettle corn?  It’s a little sweet, a little salty, and has no corn syrup or anything artificial.  It comes in Classic or Black & White (cocoa + regular).  Yum!!
