toys for the car

brandon has to endure a 45 minute car ride every morning, so i’ve tried every toy i can think of to keep him occupied because the last thing you want is a meltdown in the car.  these are the toys that he likes the best in the car right now:

tiny love wonder wheel: something about pressing buttons, seeing moving lights, AND hearing music is a magical combination.  you can push the animal buttons to hear the animal sound and see the animal light up, or you can push the tractor button to hear the tune of old macdonald while the lights flash.

elmo’s rockin road trip: he doesn’t care about the book, but loves the ipod-like device that comes with it.  you can spin the wheel to select a song, then push the button to play the song.  he figured it out right away, and loves it.

thomas and friends play-a-sound book: again, he loves pressing buttons to hear sounds.

maracas: simple, but fun
