little tikes lawn mower

today, we went to toysrus to use the $5 off $25 coupon (actually we used 2) and got brandon 3 things.   what did you get with your coupon?

(1) we picked up a thomas the train wooden railway musical caboose.  brandon loves to push the button and hear the thomas song.  i still don’t get why these little things are so expensive, though!

(2) we also got elmo’s rockin road trip book for his car rides in the morning to grandma’s house.  he loves this thing.  i like that it has volume control, and brandon loves pushing the buttons and watching the screen.  right now, he could care less about the book itself, and just uses the device like an ipod. 

(3) and the third thing we got was the little tikes lawn mower.  we didn’t plan on getting this, but brandon saw it, pulled it off the shelf, and screamed bloody murder when we tried to take it away.  haha.  we’ll see if he still likes it at home.    the only thing about this toy is that it tips backwards easily, so you need to make sure your child can walk pretty well on his own without pushing down on the handle for support.
