b is for bear

brandon has a small set of books that he really likes. b is for bear (by roger priddy) is one of them. he’s loved this book ever since he could see! he learned how to turn pages with this book too!

he’s almost a year old now, and still loves this book. he loves the big pictures of babies’ faces, and he loves the bright colors and unique textures that are included. as he has gotten older, he has found new things to touch that he didn’t see before – like the texture on the bear’s nose. he especially loves the mirror on the “y” page and gives himself a kiss! i can recite the whole book for you in under a minute… ready?

f is for flower (that smells so sweet)

he liked it so much that we went and bought f is for farm, which he also loves. f is for farm is definitely for older children, though, because brandon ripped one of the moving pieces off. however, he does love that there are moving parts in this book, and does a great job spinning the tractor wheel.
